The Popular Campaign to Support the People in Gaza (Sumoud) is a long-term, organized volunteer campaign aimed at supporting our resilient people in Gaza. It brings together various forms of giving, solidarity, and cooperation, maintaining a close relationship with several local associations and bodies, as well as all segments of Jordanian society. The campaign relies on a phased planning mechanism, starting with emergency relief aid and then moving to medium and long-term efforts, including significant support for infrastructure and living conditions. Our goal is to contribute to the resilience and steadfastness of the people of Gaza and their right to live with dignity and honor in their land.

Sumoud Neighborhoods
The Popular Campaign for the Support of the People in Gaza (Sumoud), launches its first project "Sumoud Neighborhoods", aimed at providing temporary vital spaces for the people of Gaza. This ensures the security of basic needs and services for their comfort and safety until reconstruction can begin.

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) will directly purchase all necessary supplies for the Sumoud Neighborhoods project from the donation proceeds, based on the agreement with the Sumoud Campaign, which includes specifying technical requirements and quantities.
Purchases by the organization are exempt from sales tax and customs duties, thus reducing costs and increasing support for the people in Gaza.
The People Of Gaza
Sumoud Campaign is building partnerships with local organizations and institutions within Gaza, they will guide the campaign to meet their needs. After the ceasefire, they will have the primary role in implementing and managing the neighborhoods.

Hundreds of volunteers from diverse backgrounds drive our campaign, united by the belief in our duty to provide unwavering support for the people of Gaza and meet all their needs resulting from the devastating aggression by the occupation forces. The campaign is based on the principle of task distribution among several teams that manage and coordinate the work among the volunteers. Many well-known private and community institutions, recognized for their patriotism and community contributions, participate in supporting, encouraging, and donating to the needs of the campaign.
