The Israeli occupation authorities aim to displace the residents of Gaza through an ethnic cleansing campaign and genocide. The presence of the people of Gaza on their land is a critical necessity to thwart the Zionist plan to displace them and eliminate the Palestinian cause.

Sumoud Neighborhoods

The Popular Campaign for the Support of the People in Gaza (Sumoud), launches its first project "Sumoud Neighborhoods", aimed at providing temporary vital spaces for the people of Gaza. This ensures the security of basic needs and services for their comfort and safety until reconstruction can begin.

Implementation Phase

The campaign has started the fundraising phase to secure the necessary funding to construct the first group of houses, associated with the ceasefire announcement.

The residential units and neighborhood needs will be built by the skilled hands of our people in Gaza, allowing them to live with dignity and stability on their land.

Neighborhood Features

Sumoud Neighborhoods will include a collection of temporary ready-made homes, accommodating up to one thousand residential units per neighborhood or as per the available land area.

The neighborhoods will feature a primary healthcare center, classrooms, a children's play area, a bakery, and commercial facilities.

Housing Composition

Each unit provides a nurturing space for a family, measuring 4x6 meters. Each house is equipped with essential items such as beds (mattresses), blankets, and other needs to provide temporary stability for our steadfast people in Gaza.

The housing will be manufactured in Jordan according to the specifications approved by the United Nations. We are also studying the possibility of adding solar panels to generate electricity.

Sumoud Campaign is building partnerships with local organizations and institutions within Gaza. They will guide the campaign to meet their needs. After the ceasefire, they will have the primary role in implementing and managing the neighborhoods.
